Bodies

An analog black-and-white photography project that seeks to transform the local and the flawed into the abstract and poetic. Through a search for skin imperfections, folds, and scars, by pressing bodies together and observing from a "zoom-in" perspective, a new space is created where one can observe that which usually remains hidden. Shame is transformed into intimacy, allowing a raw human aesthetic to be revealed.
